About The Designer

Jorden is a cross stitch mom; that’s how her daughter Lacey describes her. She started stitching at eight years old after watching her mom Jami and her grandma DeAnn, who cross stitched her entire childhood. After years of stitching off and on, Jami found flosstube, a community of cross stitchers who show their progress, finishes, and haul on YouTube. Jorden, Jami, DeAnn, and Janalyn (Jorden’s aunt) found themselves falling down the rabbit hole into the cross stitch world. Jorden and Jami started a flosstube channel of their own, and soon, they all became The Basic Bunch.

Jorden has always had an affinity for all things crafty. Throughout her life, people have always described her as “creative.” She loves to cook, crochet, cross stitch, draw, write, paint, and create. She began designing cross stitch patterns after she realized how many ideas she had that no one else had charted. And so Little Stitch Girl was born.

Jorden found the love of her life at 19 years old, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Together, she and her husband Alex have two beautiful children, Lacey and Ben. They love to play all sorts of board games, card games, and video games. When not playing games or doing some sort of craft, Jorden can be found with a big bowl of chips and salsa.
